Tiny Tidying- Organizing the Nursery
Congratulations! Maybe you are here as a first time parent or maybe you are a well seasoned parent expecting another adorable addition. Either way you are reading this blog hoping to prepare as best you can for your new arrival. You are doing great mama!
I’m here to share some easy tips for you to implement in your nursery to set you up for success once that adorable little sleep depriver arrives. I know that you are going to need convenient solutions to all those tiny baby products so let’s get started.
First off let’s talk about the changing station area. I always like to have the drawers filled with wipes, creams, diapers and any other product related to changing your sweet little baby. If you do not have a changing table with drawers I recommend getting a rolling cart and filling it with all these items, in fact, I recommend getting one even if you do have an abundance of drawers! Rolling cart changing stations are great to grab and pull with you where ever you and your baby are.
I also recommend a separate area for all your breast feeding needs, pads, pumps, even some snacks for when you are nap trapped. I like to keep this close to a rocking chair or where ever you think you will be feeding baby the most frequently.
For all those cute little onsies I have a solution that is pictured here. Invest in a drawer organizer that has tiny cubbies that you can stuff those little onsies into. Of course you can fold them pretty but if you are low on sleep or don’t have time at least they are separated so you can easily see what you have available.
My last tip for you today is to separate clothing by size. We want the nursery to be able to grow with your child. Put them into bins that with labels.
